Process

The best web sites are the best-planned web sites.

We have developed the following process to ensure that every project results in a superior web site.

1. Discovery – Meet to fully understand the goals of the web site and your targeted audience.  We will also study what comparable organizations are doing in this and other markets. This process will shape our approach to an internet strategy best suited to accomplish your goals and meet or exceed the expectations of your site visitors
2. Site map – We develop a visual hierarchy of the site pages. By segregating and grouping information to match the needs of site visitors, we can develop a structure and navigation that highlights your content into a cohesive, intuitive experience for experienced web users and new users alike
3. Design – With above knowledge, we begin the creative process for the overall look and the user interface(s). We will provide you with a distinct look for review. Edits and changes (or mixing) of elements until a final design is approved will then allow us to prepare a look for the interior pages.
4. Development – We begin by bringing the new look to life in a development environment, we do this by creating the HTML, the style sheets (CSS) and the graphics for the site. Then we install any additional required components, such as Content Management System (CMS), calendars, widgets, news ticker, carousels, e-commerce, private areas, etc. and we perform any required search engine optimization. The final step is to populate the site with your content.
5. Deployment – Site is tested extensively for cross-platform and cross-browser compatibility. Training on CMS is performed. Site is ready for launch!

We perform most of the work live and provide you with access to view progress online as it develops - this is valuable as it allows you to see the site as it will be seen in it's final form. Your comments and edits during this period are important!
