Two nationally noted business experts delivered keynote addresses for local
executives at TECH2005 on Wednesday, May 4. Jeff Liker, Director of the Japan
Institute at the University of Michigan and author of “The Toyota Way”
provided the morning keynote regarding Toyota’s management strategies and
the basis for their success. Erik Keller, AMR Research Fellow and author of “Technology
Paradise Lost” delivered the luncheon keynote address, directed at the on-going
shift in the information technology industry and how it will benefit users.
In addition,
14 regional executives spoke at break out sessions on topics such as mobile workforce
productivity, best IT practices for small companies, marketing for technology
businesses, licensing strategies, standard work, revitalizing your business, visual
