CNY: Region of Opportunity

On October 17-18, 2005, Syracuse will host global technology executives, local business leaders, entrepreneurs, investors, technologists, and academics attending fuse2005 at the Oncenter. The event is one in a series of programs that will highlight major developments in technology in Central New York and showcase the region’s emergence as a center for technology enabled business opportunities and economic growth. fuse2005 will complement CNY regional programs and accelerate the momentum of existing technology and business growth initiatives by attracting established and emerging technology businesses to the region.

fuse2005 will highlight tangible opportunities our area holds for technology companies and local businesses, including initiatives under way through DestiNY USA, IC Connect, CNY MedTech, and major defense contractors like Syracuse Research Corporation. fuse2005 creates a model for expanding the local technology base and bringing new business opportunities, talent, and capital to CNY.
