TDO Adds Three New Employees

Glen Chwala, Senior Project Engineer
Glen has over 10 years of lean manufacturing, six sigma, and QS/ISO9000 experience. Prior to joining TDO he worked with Cooper Industries, Crouse-Hinds Division, as a Project Manager in the Improvement Operations Office developing and delivering training in lean tools. Cindy Oehmigen, Senior Process Improvement/Lean Specialist
With over 20 years of diversified manufacturing and engineering roles, Cindy has experience in lean plant layout, methods design and improvements, new product development, warehouse system design, and capital project management. She is a leader recognized for guiding organizations through change, creating team environments, reducing costs and developing staff potential. Most recently, Cindy was the Director of Process Improvement at Loretto Management Corporation. She also held positions at Crouse-Hinds and Carrier Corporation. Jim Walter, Manager of Special Projects
Jim brings to TDO a great deal of experience in manufacturing management. Prior to joining TDO, Jim worked for E-One as Director of Engineering & Sales Administration, as a Production Control and Materials Manager for IBM and as a Project Manager for Xerox. He is skilled in driving productivity projects including JIT, Kanban, Value Stream mapping and other Lean manufacturing techniques. George Tennant Retires
George Tennant, Senior Manufacturing Analyst with TDO retired January 31 after 11 years of service. George worked with numerous manufacturing companies in Central New York during his time at TDO consulting on plant layouts, lean manufacturing and manufacturing start-up strategies. He also coached many inventors over the years, helping them to develop business strategies. George is highly regarded in the manufacturing community and will be missed by many. Prior to joining TDO George worked with Carrier Corporation and General Electric. George and his wife Judy are currently enjoying their retirement and gearing up for golf season!
